Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 21, 2026

Welcome to https://greenmakesithappen.com/ (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website and services, including but not limited to our SMS campaigns.

Information We Collect

  • Information you give us: Such as your name, email address, phone number, company, and anything else you enter in our contact and support forms or send us directly.
  • Device and usage information: Such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you. The tracking tools described under “Cookies and Tracking Technologies” collect this only when their cookies are on.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, manage, and improve our services.
  • To respond to your requests and support tickets.
  • To send transactional and promotional communications, including SMS campaigns (with your consent).
  • When analytics cookies are on: to understand how visitors use our website.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service.

SMS Campaigns

If you opt in to receive SMS communications, we will use your phone number to send you messages as part of the campaign you joined.

  • Exclusion of Text Messaging Originator Opt-In Data: All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
  • Third-Party Sharing for SMS Services: We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your Personal Data to third parties. We may share your information in the following cases:

  • With service providers that assist us in delivering our services (e.g., payment processors, messaging platforms).
  • With the analytics provider described under “Cookies and Tracking Technologies,” when those cookies are on, which receives the device and usage information its tool collects.
  • To comply with legal obligations, enforce our policies, or protect our rights.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. When you first visit our site, a banner explains the cookies we use, and you can accept or reject them.

The analytics category below never loads on the first page you view. If you continue to another page without rejecting it, it turns on, and the banner stays available until you make a choice. Reading this privacy policy does not count as continuing. You can turn it off at any time.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, or your device is set to a European time zone, continuing to browse does not count as agreeing: it stays off unless you turn it on.

Cookies you can switch on or off

Analytics

Why we use it:
Counts visits and shows us which pages people use and how they found our site, so we can improve it.
What it collects:
Pages viewed, time on the site, the referring site, browser and device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Cookies:
Sets cookies that recognize your browser on return visits, lasting up to two years.

Strictly necessary, always on

  • Visit counter: A cookie-free counter that stores nothing on your device and collects no personal data; it only reports total visits and page views.
  • Your site preferences: Your light or dark theme choice and your cookie choice are saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers them. They never leave your device.

Your choices

  • Change your mind at any time with the “Cookie Settings” link at the bottom of every page. If you turn analytics off, we remove the cookies it stored for our site and stop loading it.
  • Your choices are remembered for 12 months, after which we ask again.
  • You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Your Rights

You may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your Personal Data.
  • Opt-out of marketing communications, including SMS campaigns, at any time by following the instructions provided in the message or contacting us.
  • Withdraw your cookie consent at any time, as described above.

Development and Integrations

We build custom software and integrations for our clients. One of them is our QuickBooks connector, which posts deposit transactions from a client’s business systems into the client’s QuickBooks Online or Intuit Enterprise Suite companies. This section describes how the connector handles information and the license terms that govern its use. It applies to the connector only; the rest of this policy covers our website.

In this section, the “connector” means our QuickBooks deposit connector application, including the related scripts, configuration, documentation, and updates we provide; “QuickBooks” means the QuickBooks Online and Intuit Enterprise Suite products and services provided by Intuit Inc.; a “Client” is the business that installs, accesses, or uses the connector; and “Client Data” means data from a Client’s systems or QuickBooks companies that the connector accesses or processes. The connector is a business tool provided to our Clients and is not intended for consumer use.

Information the connector accesses

  • QuickBooks data: When a Client authorizes the connector to connect to a QuickBooks company, it accesses only the data needed to do its job: company identifiers, the chart of accounts, classes and locations, payment methods, customers, and the deposit transactions it creates or checks.
  • Client business data: Sales and deposit data read from the databases or files the Client designates, such as store identifiers, business dates, tender types, amounts, processing fees, and batch or settlement identifiers.
  • Authentication data: OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by Intuit, used only to maintain the authorized connection. The connector does not collect or store QuickBooks usernames or passwords.
  • Operational data: Run logs, error records, and data snapshots used for auditing, troubleshooting, and notifications.

The connector is not designed to collect payment card numbers, bank account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive personal information, and Clients should not configure it to do so.

How we use it

  • To create and verify deposit transactions in the Client’s QuickBooks companies.
  • To validate configuration and account mappings, and to prevent duplicate postings.
  • To produce logs, audit records, and error notifications for the Client.
  • To provide support and maintain the connector at the Client’s request.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not use Client Data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the connector for that Client.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade Client Data. We share it only:

  • With Intuit, as necessary to perform the QuickBooks operations the Client has authorized.
  • With service providers that support operation of the connector, such as hosting or email delivery, who are required to protect it.
  • To comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, or protect our rights.
  • At the Client’s written direction.

Storage, security, and retention

The connector runs on systems controlled by the Client or operated by us on the Client’s behalf. We protect its data with encrypted connections to QuickBooks, restricted access to credentials and tokens, least-privilege database access, and secure storage of configuration secrets. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Logs and snapshots are kept as long as needed for auditing and troubleshooting, or as the Client directs. OAuth tokens are kept only while a connection is active. When service ends, or on the Client’s request, we delete or return the Client Data in our possession, except where the law requires us to keep it.

Disconnecting and your rights

A Client may revoke the connector’s access to a QuickBooks company at any time from the company’s connected-apps settings in QuickBooks, or by contacting us. Once access is revoked, the connector can no longer read from or write to that company, and the associated tokens are deleted.

In connection with the connector, Clients may:

  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data we hold.
  • Disconnect the connector from any QuickBooks company at any time.
  • Request return of their Client Data when service ends.

Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Having the right to connect each QuickBooks company and source system to the connector, and complying with the laws that apply to the data they choose to process with it.
  • The accuracy of their source data and of the account mappings and configuration the connector uses.
  • Reviewing the transactions the connector posts to QuickBooks and reconciling their accounts.
  • Safeguarding credentials, access tokens, and the systems the connector runs on.
  • Obtaining their own accounting, tax, and legal advice. The connector is a data-transfer tool and does not provide accounting, tax, or financial advice.

License terms

These license terms are an agreement between Green Line LLC dba Green Line Solutions (“Green Line,” “we,” “us”) and the Client (“you”). By connecting the connector to your QuickBooks company, or by otherwise using it, you agree to these terms on behalf of that business. If you do not agree, do not use the connector. Our handling of Client Data is described above in this section.

  • License: Subject to these terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the connector for your internal business purposes during the term of this agreement.
  • Restrictions: You will not: (a) sell, resell, rent, lease, or distribute the connector to any third party; (b) decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive its source code, except as permitted by law or as we expressly allow; (c) modify it or create derivative works without our written consent; (d) use it in violation of applicable law or of Intuit’s terms of service; or (e) remove any proprietary notices.
  • Ownership: We and our licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the connector, including all intellectual property rights. You retain all right, title, and interest in Client Data. No rights are granted except as expressly stated here.
  • Third-party services: The connector interacts with QuickBooks and other third-party services we do not control. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, changes, or interruptions of any third-party service.
  • Support, updates, and fees: Support, maintenance, updates, and fees, if any, are as set out in a separate quote, invoice, or written services agreement between you and us. Absent such an agreement, we have no obligation to provide support or updates.
  • Term and termination: This agreement remains in effect until terminated. Either party may terminate it on thirty (30) days’ written notice, and we may terminate it immediately if you materially breach it. On termination, you must stop using the connector and disconnect it from your QuickBooks companies. The Client responsibilities above and the Ownership, Third-party services, Disclaimer of warranties, Limitation of liability, Indemnification, and General terms survive termination.
  • Disclaimer of warranties: The connector is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the connector will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that the transactions it posts will be complete or accurate.
  • Limitation of liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business, however caused, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability arising out of or relating to this agreement or the connector will not exceed the fees you paid us for the connector in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
  • Indemnification: You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Green Line and its owners, employees, and agents from third-party claims arising from your use of the connector in violation of this agreement or applicable law, or from Client Data, configuration, or account mappings you supply.
  • Changes to these terms: We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and continued use of the connector after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
  • General: This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign this agreement without our written consent. If you and Green Line have a separate signed agreement covering the connector, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these terms.
